Junior Data Engineer

We are looking for a Junior Data Engineer who is eager to learn, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is motivated to grow and share knowledge.

What to expect:

Work in a supportive environment for international clients

Work closely with an experienced software developer who’ll be guiding and mentoring you

Contribute to the team goals and work on tasks covering the design and implementation of data processing systems, data pipelines and data visualization solutions

Actively communicate tasks, requirements, issues and open questions with your mentor, the team and the client

Learn new technologies, attend technical and soft-skills trainings and take professional certifications

Develop complex queries, writing DB scripts and stored procedures

Develop new client specific reports and modifying existing ones, both pro-actively, in order to improve operational efficiencies, and in response to customer requests

Troubleshoot and identify issues with existing reports and data by analyzing SQL and reports

Requirements

The perfect candidate meets the following:

Solid knowledge in data modeling, data processing and data warehousing principles

Database development skills and knowledge in SQL

Experience with a one or more of database servers (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, MySQL, etc.)

Familiarity with data visualization tools

Fluency in English
