About the project:This is the next generation of multiplayer gaming, transforming classic poker into an immersive digital spectacle. An interactive competitive platform where players, spectators, and hosts become full-fledged participants in one large-scale shared experience.

At the heart of the project is the concept of the Digital Coliseum, a digital arena where every game becomes a public performance, and audience attention becomes the platform’s most valuable asset and the foundation of its in-game economy.

About the Role

We’re looking for a 2D Artist to help shape the visual world of a mobile poker game set in a high-life solarpunk future, a stylish, technologically advanced, optimistic vision of tomorrow.

You’ll create a wide range of UI elements, game props, customization assets, and thematic visual sets while working within an established art direction. The key challenge is maintaining a strong and consistent visual language across a large amount of diverse content.

The ideal candidate understands how to build assets as part of a cohesive visual system, rather than treating each asset as a standalone illustration. The style should feel premium, futuristic, refined, and sophisticated, with a strong solarpunk influence, without visual clutter.

Requirements:

Strong understanding of form, color, materials, composition, and stylization.

Ability to work confidently within an established art direction and visual language.

Experience creating game UI, props, icons, customization assets, or casual/mobile game art.

Strong sense of visual consistency and attention to detail.

Ability to create diverse assets that still feel like part of the same game world and visual system.

Understanding of how to keep interfaces clean, readable, and visually balanced, even with a large amount of customization content.

Ability to work independently from briefs and effectively incorporate feedback from an Art Director.

A strong portfolio demonstrating relevant 2D game art and/or UI work.

Key Duties:

Create 2D UI and in-game visual elements for a mobile poker game.

Design props and customization assets for player profiles, avatars, poker tables, and the game environment.

Create playing cards, card backs, chips, table elements, accessories, rewards, status elements, and other game assets.

Develop themed visual sets that can transform the overall look of cards, tables, UI, and the game screen around a single theme.

Explore shapes, materials, colors, and details within the established high-life solarpunk / futuristic visual language.

Maintain a consistent level of quality and visual cohesion across a large volume of assets.

Work from art briefs and collaborate closely with the Art Director and UI/UX team.

Take assets through to a polished, production-ready state.
