As Product Specialist, you will join the Terumo Europe Interventional Systems (TIS) Business Unit and be part of the team covering Eurasia, specifically the CIS region. The TIS business unit offers product and services related to Interventional Cardiology, Peripheral Intervention and Interventional Oncology and partners closely with physicians, KOL's and local distributors.
Job Summary
The Product Specialist is responsible for driving sustainable business growth and market development of the assigned product portfolio across 11 countries of the CIS region. The role combines product management, downstream marketing, commercial support, clinical education, and distributor development to maximize market penetration, strengthen customer relationships, and ensure successful execution of business strategies in close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, and Global Business Units.
Job ResponsibilitiesProduct Expertise & Clinical Education
Act as regional product and clinical expert for the assigned portfolioDevelop and deliver product education programs for distributors, sales teams and healthcare professionalsSupport physician training, workshops and clinical case discussionsProvide product support during complex procedures where appropriateDevelop educational and promotional materials in collaboration with Marketing Communication
Commercial Support & Business DevelopmentSupport execution of the annual business plan for the assigned portfolioIdentify growth opportunities and market expansion initiatives across CIS countriesSupport distributor business reviews and joint business planningMonitor sales performance and recommend improvement actionsSupport product launches, pricing discussions and strategic opportunities
Product Management & MarketingDevelop and execute annual marketing plans and product positioning strategiesAnalyse market trends, customer needs and competitor activitiesMonitor product performance, profitability and lifecycle managementSupport forecasting, demand planning and business reviews
Distributor ManagementBuild strong relationships with distributors and product specialistsConduct regular performance reviews and identify improvement opportunitiesSupport development of local business plans and onboarding of new distributor personnelEnsure adequate product knowledge across distributor organisations
Tender & Market AccessSupport tender preparation and review tender opportunities and risksCollaborate with Regulatory Affairs on registration requirements impacting market accessSupport reimbursement initiatives and adoption strategies
Regulatory Affairs SupportProvide commercial input for registrations and product changesSupport launch planning for newly registered productsMonitor regulatory developments affecting the portfolio
KOL Development & Clinical PartnershipsDevelop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and clinical stakeholdersSupport advisory boards, educational events and clinical collaborationsFacilitate exchange of clinical expertise across the region
Congresses & Marketing ActivitiesPlan and execute congresses, workshops, educational meetings and product launchesCoordinate participation in scientific events and evaluate return on investment
Forecasting & Supply ChainSupport sales forecasting and demand planning activitiesMonitor inventory, product availability and expiry risks with distributors and Supply Chain

Profile Description
Profile & Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Medicine, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field
3–5 years of experience in Product Management, Product Marketing, Clinical Support, Sales, Market Development or a related commercial role within the medical device industry
Experience working with distributors and managing business activities across multiple countries or regions is a strong advantage
Strong understanding of interventional procedures and cathlab workflows, with the ability to provide clinical and product support during procedures
Solid commercial and analytical capabilities, including market development, forecasting, pricing and competitive analysis
Demonstrated ability to build relationships with healthcare professionals, Key Opinion Leaders, distributors and other external stakeholders
Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Fluent in English and Russian and willing to travel extensively across CIS countries and internationally (up to 50%)
